Serj. Yuliet's already been told, but Daryen has been taken from us. He died in the attack that killed a good dozen of our network. I believe some of the others are holding a vigil.
Both of you are not to go anywhere near the house tomorrow. Is that clear? I'm taking everyone off it except for those that have to be there.

You'll be helping with the strike on the townhouse on the 19th. It's integral that you make this devastating. All our attacks up to the 22nd are going to be building up to keep them from seeking out any information on Pearl. It's going to be especially important, with the new announcements posted.

Silas wants us to run Fayre's associates ragged over the next couple of weeks. Up through the "show" we have planned for Pearl. We're not to let them sleep if at all possible. They need to be tired and unable to defend themselves. If we can kill some of them ...
Well, all the better. Fewer to kill later. They'd die anyway.
I'm not putting any of you on the attacks. I need you where you are. I need you to keep your ears and eyes open for any news about Fayre returning to the city. Gossip out of the dark parts of town. I have agents returning from Colndor soon, and hopefully they'll have news. You need to help me find any information that I can. The attacks on the townhouse where her associates are staying ... grunt work. Not worth your talents.

Yuliet's cards came up with a favorable reading for abducting Pearl. They also gave a good outcome for going after Jack. But I don't have the resources to spare on that. You'll have to take care of it if you want him out of the way.
We'll be taking her on the first of November.

She's in the upcoming production of Wicked. Their opening night is the first of November, and Yuliet has told me that the best opportunity to take her will be before she rises to glory. That brings it to the first of November. Before her performance.
We'll need to infiltrate the theater. Serj, Daryen, I trust both of you can help make arrangements for this.

Well, there's certainly upset. I don't think you realized, I'm afraid, just how many of my people were relying on those goods. A lot of them need it to keep themselves balanced, in the city we live in now ...

Keep your ears to the ground. There's some whispers circling around about a planned attack of some sort. I don't know what on, or when it'll be. But you -- we -- need to be careful.
Double the lookout. Have one of the halves run the streets and see what they hear during the afternoon. Ten minutes after lunch, thirty minutes at sunset. If they don't come back, you torch the place and move on.

The outlook is good. Yuliet said that her reading indicated we had disrupted them in the past ... but that the plan would turn out favorably for us. The Sun is a good card, and it's the one she drew.
I assume that the arrangements are ones I won't be able to assist with.

Nadya is alive.
Barely.
She was barely coherent when I spoke to her, but she managed to drag herself into the safehouse in the Tailors' District. Filthy and delirious. I'm not sure she's managed to recover much, but she managed to tell me that Iva was dead, but they killed Vincent.
Lady Brittany, however, she believes still lives. I haven't seen so much as a hair of her.
The Taproom was raided last night. We lost several good people in the raid. I'm not sure how many were killed and how many were taken for our beloved Spymistress' interrogation, but you should assume the worst. We need to establish new safehouses and quickly. None of our old ones are reliable now.
Nadya is recovering. I believe she's resting now. She nearly drowned; she's lucky that she survived.

The Pillar agent Vincent is dead.

Not really much of a birthday, is it? Who can even truly say how old you really are? Does it really even matter?
Safe in Colndor, you'd be watching after a new child. Maybe bought off the markets. Maybe sold by their family. Maybe given willingly in hopes of finding a better future. They'd know the basics of the alphabet by now. You'd teach them "Hello." "Goodbye." How to write the date. The same things you taught every child since you started this. The same thing you saw in so many journals. The creative ones would write something different, but those are the ones that made it past those first few years, aren't they?
And, in the worst case, by now, you'd have blood on your hands. Another body carefully disposed of. No one in Colndor looks for missing Adveni children. Not even their families, often enough.
I need the damned blood.
